With the help of a powerful engine and a universal gearbox, a heavy SUV can reach 100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds. At the same time, the maximum speed limit is close to 170 km / h, regardless of the modification and Cadillac Escalade interior.
The fuel consumption of this car impresses with its “appetites” (10-18 liters per 100 kilometers, depending on the driving mode). The car of the "Lux" category is built on the frame basis of the K2-XX prototype, the total mass of the vehicle is 2.6-2.73 tons. The designers have tried to save some weight by using an aluminum alloy roll cage, the tailgate and hood are generally made of pure aluminum.
The front axle is equipped with an independent suspension unit with a double wishbone having an A-shaped configuration. The rear analogue is made with a continuous type axle with five levers. On some models, adaptive Magnetic Ride Control dampers are mounted, which are electronically controlled. This option makes it possible to adjust the suspension stiffness directly under the road surface. To make driving easier, the SUV is equipped with variable power steering, depending on the driving style. All wheels of this vehicle are equipped with ventilated disc brakes,four-mode ABS system, vacuum "assistant" and EBD.

The new improved fourth-generation Cadillac Escalade SUV, whose price on the domestic market starts at 4.5 million rubles, is offered in several trim levels. The standard modification includes LED optics, seven airbags, multi-level climate control, a set of active security systems, leather trim, 22-inch aluminum wheels and a digital dashboard.
For example, assembly in the Premium class will cost the buyer about 4.8 million rubles. And the equipment of an even more expensive ESV modification includes the presence of “combined security”, illumination of door handles, a multimedia system for rear row passengers, and wireless headset kits.
