Gorky automakers have always been distinguished by the fact that they produce high-quality copies used in various areas of human life. One of these modern "monsters" of Russian engineers is the Jaeger machine. We will talk about this four-wheeled “iron horse” in as much detail as possible in the article.

GAZ with the index 33081 was first published in 1997 and at this point in time, in fact, it is already a legendary truck that has deservedly received recognition and respect from those who exploit it for their own needs. The Jaeger car, the photo of which is given below, is popular not only in Russia, but also far beyond its borders. The scope of the car is almost unlimited.

The truck itself has become, in a sense, the reincarnation of the GAZ-66, well-known to many motorists. This hybrid eventually got the bonneted looks and character of a true modern, very powerful SUV.

GAZ is good in that it is able, if necessary, to pass where its other "colleagues" will sign their impotence. Power plant

The car's engine is a four-cylinder unit MMZ 245.7, the volume of which is 4.7 liters. Motor power is 117 horsepower at 2400 rpm. The unit fully complies today with Euro-4 environmental standards.

Brake system

This truck assembly works to maximum effect. The brakes of the machine are mixed, since they have both hydraulic and pneumatic drives. Depending on the situation, each of these components proves to be at its best, because the car stops quite quickly for its considerable dimensions.

Ergonomics and appearance

Strange as it may seem, but with all its power, the truck turned out to be quite acceptable for drivers in terms of comfort level. The cabin of the car is very spacious, and on request, the consumer can get a driver's seat with an extended range of adjustments, which makes the car even more attractive.

The dashboard is made quite ascetic and thoughtful. For example, the steering wheel in no way blocks the view of the indicators. There is also a fairly reliable hydraulic booster to help the driver. On the passenger side, there is, at first glance, an absolutely inconspicuous double sofa, but its saddles are quite solidly made and therefore people sitting on it canfeel comfortable and comfortable even during a long trip. There is also a heating system in the cabin that maintains the air temperature acceptable for any person in the cabin.

Conclusion

The “Huntsman” machine, the characteristics of which were given above, is unique due to one more fact: it is operated without problems at an altitude of 4,500 meters above sea level, and at an ambient temperature in the range from -50 to + 50 degrees Celsius.

It is impossible to ignore the fact that the gearbox housing is detachable. This car node itself is synchronized and has five steps. The front and rear axles are equipped with a cross-axle differential with a high degree of friction, which allows the car to move without any problems in off-road conditions. Also, the truck is able to overcome a water barrier up to a depth of almost one meter. In addition, the military version of the car is complemented by a system for adjusting the pressure in the road wheels, and this, in turn, greatly simplifies its movement on any road.
