In the collector, the existing hole must immediately be sealed with epoxy glue or welded using argon welding. You can cut off the excess part with the help of a grinder. Instead of the existing high beam bulb, it is necessary to install a corrugation. You can choose a ventilation or a special one, which is mounted on a car from a preheater. The inner diameter of the hose is 50 mm. At the same time, the inside should be smooth so as not to impede the flow of air. One end of the corrugation is connected in the headlight, the other - with a hole made in the air filter box. The main inlet pipe to the box should be dismantled, and the inlet closed with a plug. In order for the condensate to drain, it is necessary to make several holes in the lowest places. In such a simple way, a cold inlet will be installed on Kalina. The pros and cons (the VAZ-2172 also lends itself to such an upgrade), unlike the installation of the system, are that the engine stops emitting strong vibration at idle, but it becomes more difficult to move a few meters. In addition, in the cool time of the day, the car has increased agility. Also, the car becomes faster on the highway when accelerating over 100 km / h.
