UAZ-33036 refers to light-duty flatbed trucks, which are produced by the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant, and are a continuation of the line of UAZ-3303 cars. Like all previous UAZ models, this car has increased cross-country ability and, in fact, is a full-fledged SUV.

General description of the vehicle

A distinctive feature of the UAZ-33036 car, the photo of which is presented below, is that it is a "long wheelbase". That is, its length increased by 25 cm, which made it possible to increase the carrying capacity of the machine, as well as provide better stability and a softer ride.

The cargo platform (body) is made of metal. All three sides are folding, they are provided with special brackets that can be used both for fixing a bulky load and for installing a waterproof awning. A pair of folding seats are installed along the front side, each of which can accommodate two people.

Cab

The cab of the truck remained two-door, as in the UAZ-3303. It is designed for two people and externally has not undergone any special changes. Nevertheless, the UAZ-33036 car, despite its external simplicity, bordering on asceticism, has become morecomfortable: the interior received soft fabric upholstery, the seats became adjustable, the manufacturer trimmed the instrument panel with plastic, and for the winter period a high-performance heater was installed in the cab.

The engine is located right in the cabin, which is why the driver's seat turned out to be separated from the passenger by a metal casing sheathed in leatherette. From a practical point of view, this is quite convenient, as it allows, if necessary, to carry out repairs or maintenance in any weather and regardless of the time of day.

Knots and mechanisms

The UAZ-33036 power unit belongs to the L4 type, that is, it has an in-line arrangement of four cylinders, respectively, and pistons that rotate a common crankshaft. In this case, the cylinders are arranged vertically. UAZ-33036 is equipped with a gasoline eight-valve engine UMZ-4218.10 with a capacity of 86 horsepower with a carburetor fuel system. The motor is located in front of the longitudinal. The car is equipped with a four-speed manual transmission. The transfer case is also mechanical and has two stages.

The drive is full and permanently connected, but it is possible to turn off the axle shafts of the front wheels. Suspension front and rear - dependent spring. As for the brake system, it is hydraulic, equipped with a hydraulic booster to facilitate operation, it works separately on the front and rear wheels. Braking system on all wheels - drum type.

Additional equipment options

The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant, in addition to cars, also produces vans of its own production, which can be both isothermal and universal. In particular, "Termos" -2746 is a van created on the basis of UAZ-33036 (photo can be seen below).

In addition to the basic configuration, the factory can install an ignition switch with a built-in anti-theft device, a steering column multifunction switch,soft chairs with headrests and adjustable backrest, sunroof for interior ventilation. In addition, the casing that covers the engine is sheathed with additional thermal and sound insulation, and the cabin ceiling can also be processed. Outside, on the front, to protect against damage to the headlights and the radiator, protection (“kenguryatnik”) can be installed. And to facilitate the operation of the truck in winter, the option of installing a preheater is provided.

UAZ-33036 Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant began producing in 1997, and it continues to roll off the assembly line to this day.
