Honda Rafaga is a passenger car produced since 1993 for four years. This car was designed for use on Japanese roads. The car had a meager equipment, front-wheel drive, and was also equipped with both a four-speed automatic and a five-speed manual transmission.

The dashboard consisted of many standard and non-standard elements: a speedometer, a tachometer, an automatic transmission stage indicator, direction indicators, an element that displays all system errors. An additional option was an LCD monitor with a navigation system and a multimedia system.

This car is somewhat unique, because for such a price it is difficult to find a car from the nineties with such functionality. There is not a single car that has an LCD display with a navigation system, which at that timewas a rarity. The buyer was offered a choice of configurations with climate control or air conditioning.

The center console consisted of a climate control unit or an air conditioner, a standard audio system, seat adjustment and heating buttons, and door locks. The climate control vents are located between the LCD unit and the center console.

Each car has its pros and cons, which often do not coincide with objective indicators. Each car owner has his own impression of him. The objective advantages of the Honda Rafaga model include:

• nice appearance for a car of the last century;
• large luggage space;
• a rarity on Russian roads, since initially the car was not exported to any country and was intended only for the Japanese market;
• good quality fog lights;
• powerful and economical engine for a small twenty-year-old sedan;
• nice pendant.

There are many more pluses than minuses. The disadvantages of the Honda Rafaga model are:

• rare components and spare parts due to the small number of cars on Russian roads;
• small rear seat capacity;
• non-standard car (front-wheel drive combined with a longitudinal engine);
• too large turning radius.

Conclusion

The car was produced for four years. Despite the fact that it was produced only for the Japanese market, it can also be found on Russian roads, mainly in the Far East due to its proximity to Japan. The main advantage of the Honda Rafaga is its engine, whose power reaches 180 horsepower. But the car also has its downsides. In the absence of spare parts, repairing a Honda Rafaga sometimes causes more problems than fixing more modern cars.
