The brake system is divided into two circuits, each independent of the other. This design is quite convenient, since the failure of both circuits at once happens very rarely. But, despite this, the repair of the brake system should be carried out around the entire perimeter, because in the event of a malfunctionin one circuit, the probability of failure of the second one increases, since they all have approximately the same service life.

Now about everything in more detail. The GTZ has a fairly long service life, caring for it comes down to the timely replacement of rubber seals. Its plane inside is mirrored, it does not come into contact with the steel piston, so its wear is, in principle, impossible, since only rubber seals come into contact with it.

Brake maintenance can be a little tricky. The front wheels turn, so the brake hoses that fit the calipers break at the folds. In this case, the repair of the brake system is not limited to only one side. If you had to change one hose, then the second one, too, is likely to break soon, so it is recommended to change them in pairs.

There are times when one of the tubes is interrupted by a stone from under the bottom, then it is only subject to replacement. After that, you will still have to remove air from the system, but thanks again to the two-circuit system, only from one circuit.

In addition to the above, the most common brake system failure is pad wear, both front and rear. It has been proven that drum brakes have less efficiency and wear resistance, so you have to change such pads much more often than disc brakes. As for the drums and discs themselves, the former are usually made of aluminum,and the latter are made of steel, they are practically not subject to wear.

Faults in the braking system can lead to very disastrous consequences, since untimely braking leads to an accident. Well, if it does without casu alties, but at high speed it is unlikely. Therefore, you need to constantly remember about such a thing as a brake system, monitor the condition of the pipeline, and also control the level of brake fluid in the reservoir. If a breakdown occurs, then it is necessary to carry out timely repair of the brake system. This is the key to safety on the road, in addition, do not forget about observing the speed limit.
