On the tread, they have powerful checkers and sipes with massive lugs, which eliminates the possibility of slipping when driving on dirt tracks, including wet grass. Pros and cons
As we have already noted, with such a tire you can go on any off-road without fear. High sipes and large lugs provide the car with effective grip even on the most difficult road. But at the same time, you have to forget about normal driving on asph alt. This is its main drawback. When driving on asph alt, mud tires last much less than when driving on the terrain for which they are intended. The steering wheel on such a road will be “wadded”, and the SUV itself will become uncontrollable already at 60 kilometers per hour. The faster he goes, the more often he will be thrown from side to side. Therefore, if for the most part you operate your car around the city, it is better to purchase regular tires. When it comes to driving on a gravel road, it's not that easy either. Yes, mud tires can hold a car on rough terrain, but as the name implies, the car will only be steerable if it happens on mud. For such a road, it is best to purchase extreme wheels. Although they have a resemblance to mud, insidethey have more layers of cord and a stronger carcass. But this does not exclude the possibility of their operation on sand and stones.
Installation
As far as installation is concerned, these mud tires mount to the rim without much effort (just like a simple "all-weather"). The only thing she sometimes needs is balancing. There were cases when tires on the UAZ Patriot were muddy when balancing were equipped with several weights weighing up to 400 grams.
