• Brushes and their holders. They serve to supply voltage to plate collectors,anchored.
• The anchor itself, the axis of which is equipped with a pressed core.

MTZ starter for transferring electricity to the engine is equipped with solenoid relays. The motor pushes the freewheel using electrical power and a movable bridge.

Petrol units

This assembly is equipped with a gearbox and a power device with a capacity of up to 10 horsepower. The MTZ starter of this type is a block in the form of a small starting motor with one cylinder, which has a combustion chamber. The popular name for such a unit is “launcher”. After starting the device, the gearbox transmits torque to the main motor, spinning it. This is called starting the tractor from the launcher.

The peculiarity of such devices is that they are not particularly demanding on the quality of the fuel and lubricant used. They can function without loss of performance on low quality fuels and lubricants. The MTZ starter works on the principle of other analogues installed on most types of equipment. The design and operation of modern starting devices provide ease of maintenance of the unit, since it is enough to press one button or turn the ignition key to control the unit.

Reduced version

You can solve the problem by disassembling the assembly, cleaning it, changing the brushes or adjusting their position along with the fixing springs.
• The starter does not turn off after starting the engine. Such a malfunction can be caused by sintering of the contactors on the relay, shorting of its winding, wear of the bearings, or jamming of the mechanism drive. Repair is carried out by disassembling the fixture to determine the exact cause of the breakdown. Then the defective parts are repaired or replaced.
• There is no reaction of the starter of the MTZ tractor to an attempt to start. In most cases, older models suffer from this problem. You should check the electrical circuit, identify a possible break in the wiring or a malfunction of the switch. To correct the situation, it is recommended to strip the terminals, replace the faulty wires andsecurely tighten the fasteners.

Miscellaneous problems

It happens that the flywheel can not grapple with its crown with the bendix. Most often this occurs due to contamination of the overrunning clutch. You can fix the problem by thoroughly washing the assembly in gasoline. After that, it must be installed in place by manually turning the gear to the desired position.

Often, users are faced with the lack of rotation of the shaft during the movement of the anchor. The problem is in the slip of the freewheel. This results in the subsequent replacement of the entire starter drive.

Here you have to stop at the starting option or a gear starter. It is worth noting that instead of a launcher, you can equip an electrical analogue using special adapters.

To better understand what type of node in question is best suited for your technique, certain points should be taken into account. For example, in warm areas, the electric option is more appropriate as it saves time and energy. In cold regions, PD-10 is better suited, because it does not freeze, withprovided that the correct oil is used.

Starter instead of MTZ launcher

Most often, the trigger is converted, changing the mechanical version to an electrical counterpart. This is affected by several factors: the starter requires special maintenance (filling with fuel and oil, checking for spark, turning the magnet and performing a number of other actions).

To convert the launcher to a geared starter, you will need a set of certain elements, namely:

• Proper launcher.
• Rear transition sheet.
• New flywheel with crown.

To install the kit, you will need to disassemble the motor, install a new clutch cover. This will take a lot of time and financial costs. Nevertheless, independent re-equipment will cost an order of magnitude cheaper than in specialized service centers.
