"Farmer"-UAZ is a cargo-passenger modification of the legendary "loaf" (UAZ-3303), characterized by a 4 x 4 wheel arrangement and the presence of an on-board tilt body for transporting various types of goods. According to the manufacturer, this car is capable of driving on all types of roads, be it an asph alt road, a rural dirt road or rough terrain.
Design
In fact, the modification "Farmer" is the same "Loaf", only with a cargo body from the 3303rd UAZ. You can not even remember about the appearance and modern lines here. What can you do, the entire range of cars of the Ulyanovsk plant was once intended exclusively for the needs of the Soviet Army, therefore, first of all, technical equipment was valued here, and no one really thought about the exterior. By modern standards, "Farmer"-UAZ is outdated by at least 30 years. Interestingly, for the entire period of production, neither he nor the "Loaf" has never undergone changes in appearance.

"Farmer"-UAZ is able to comfortably accommodate up to 5 people. True, “with comfort” is too loud for this truck. Still, it’s not as comfortable inside as in the Mercedes Vito, but there are some amenities here. The manufacturer placed a special window partition between the first and second row of seats, and a small table is installed in the center of the cab. It is also impossible not to note the presence of a new stove, which turned out to be much more powerful than on standard UAZ 3303 models. It is simply impossible to freeze in such a cabin in winter, and this is especially true for residents of the northern latitudes, where, in fact, it is operated for the most part. There is a lot of free space inside, and even in the back row you don’t feel squeezed between the walls of the cabin.
UAZ "Farmer": engine characteristics
Until recently, an engine with a carburetor fuel supply system was installed on the truck, but due to its “environmental friendliness” it was replaced by a new 4-cylinder injection engine UMZ-4213 with a capacity of 99 horsepower. It is produced by the Ulyanovsk Motor Plant. According to environmental standards, it fully complies with the Euro-2 standard. Paired with the engine is a mechanical four-speed gearbox. It is not known what gear ratio she should have if, according to her passport data, she accelerates the car to 127 kilometers per hour. And why such a speed if the car will be operated off-road?
In the near future, the Ulyanovsk manufacturer does not plan to change4-speed "mechanics" to any other, and even more so to install an "automatic" box on the "Farmer" -UAZ. No changes will be made to the power units either, at least in the next 2-3 years.
UAZ "Farmer": price
The initial cost of a new light truck is 437 thousand rubles. In principle, for a truck equipped with all-wheel drive, this is quite an acceptable cost, but if you focus on the "modern" design and "innovative" interior of the UAZ, then it is definitely not worth that kind of money.
