There is such a Russian proverb: "With the world on a thread - a naked shirt!". European, American and Japanese car designers have spent years to come up with solutions that work and make money for automakers based on the best ideas. Nowadays, in order to speed up the process of making successful design decisions, huge amounts of money are invested in their development, and in order to prevent ideas from being stolen, a licensing mechanism is being developed. When the Chinese company Chery started producing Tiggo cars, there was neither time nor big money for their design, and they were bought from the “Japanese world on a string”: body from Toyota RAV 4, engine from Mitsubishi, something from Honda CR-V. So there was not the worst crossover Chery Tiggo. Russian automakers have worse money than Chinese ones, and the ability to pay domestic designers died out at the beginning of the 20th century. Therefore, the Vortex Tingo, produced by the Taganrog company TagAZ, differs from the Chery Tiggo, by and large, only in the badge on the radiator and the features of the Russian assembly.

With regard to Vortex Tingo, the reviews of the owners are very opposite: from insulting abuse to completeadmiration. Cursing is usually associated with serious breakdowns and complete indifference to such breakdowns on the part of dealers and service organizations. Moreover, malfunctions also happen with cars of famous automakers, but a careful attitude towards their customers, a willingness to correct and compensate for their own mistakes are a characteristic feature of well-known European and Japanese companies. The Chinese “avtopromom”, followed by TagAZ, have chosen a different strategy: to quickly improve the quality of their products, and not take care of the car service. And, judging by the reviews of the owners, especially after restyling in 2012, they succeed. With regard to the often mentioned failure with engine oil leakage due to a poor-quality Vortex Tingo crankshaft oil seal, reviews after 2012 do not contain such an unpleasant story. Although, it's too early to rejoice, you need to wait out the winter, because this happened in big frosts.

Regarding the high-torque engine and acceleration dynamics of the Vortex Tingo, the reviews of the former owners of the Volga and VAZ are full of enthusiasm, and those who are new or “moved from the Japanese” are more modest, but also satisfied. Gasoline consumption also pleases drivers, 8 maximum 10 liters per 100 km in the city, but given that the car is exclusively front-wheel drive, the sources of such joy are incorrect comparisons.

Regarding the Vortex Tingo suspension, the feedback is also positive. Moreover, the MacPherson front suspension is expected for such a model, and the rear - an independent "multi-link" - is typical for more expensive cars. This suspension provides not only goodhandling of obstacles, but also cornering stability at the level of low-profile sedans. The reliability of suspension parts and their frequent failure is another issue, and, judging by the responses, a painful one.

Regarding the comfort of the cabin and the ergonomics of the Vortex Tingo, the reviews are solid praises with small "grunts" for insignificant reasons. A sore subject is the closing of doors and the development of sealing rubber bands on them. Another unpleasant topic is soundproofing, although this problem seems to have been artificially created, and it raises suspicion that the owners of the Vortex Tingo are solid music lovers. But the build quality of cars, body gaps and flaws in metal processing are low-quality details that many owners have to fix manually.

To sum up the comments about the Vortex Tingo, the feedback from the owners is more positive than negative, and improves with the growth of the quality of TagAZ products.
