Pavlovsk Automobile Plant is one of the leaders in the production of cars and buses in Russia. The PAZ 3206 bus was developed back in 1986, but its serial assembly was launched in 1994. The car stands out in that it has a sufficient degree of cross-country ability, and this is especially true in Russian off-road conditions. In addition, high performance and the availability of an affordable spare parts catalog make the bus in demand among carriers. Along with this, the owners of the unit noted that it is easy to maintain and combines decent quality and low cost.
Features of use
As practice has shown, PAZ 3206, having its own weight of seven tons, requires a radius of less than eight meters to turn. Thanks to the well-thought-out dimensions, the machine is able to perfectly adapt to a fairly dense, one might even say saturated,urban traffic flow. Many drivers also noted the good handling of the bus: maneuvering does not require significant effort.

Developing the PAZ 3206, the designers took a very responsible approach to solving the issue of its design. In particular, the restyled models of 2007 already have a modern upholstery in the form of plastic, dual semi-soft velor seats, and thoughtful installation of handrails. Buses PAZ 3206-110 are specially designed for operation in the northern regions and therefore are equipped with an insulated interior, double glazing, and a fairly powerful vehicle heating system.
Ventilation of the cabin is carried out by opening the windows and hatches. The body is made in one piece and metal. Type - wagon. Pneumatic double door. Its width is 72 centimeters. The spare door has one leaf and is already equipped with a manual drive. The driver's seat is separated from the passenger compartment by a partition, and the seat has an air suspension that perfectly dampens vibration during the trip.
The bus has hydraulic power steering. The capacity of the vehicle for group transportation is 25 people.

PAZ 3206 is very carefully tested before implementation, all its technical characteristics are closely studied and verified.
The bus is equipped with a four-cylinder diesel engine of the imported Cummins 4ISBe185 (Euro-3) type. Power plant poweris 185 horsepower. In some cases, the bus may have a ZMZ-5234 engine with a power of 124 horsepower. The number of cylinders in this engine is 8, the environmental class is Euro-1. This power plant is equipped with a quick warm-up function, which is especially important when operating the bus in the harsh climatic conditions of the northern regions of Russia.
Paz 3206 overcomes roads of any complexity without much difficulty. This was made possible thanks to the presence of all-wheel drive and the following design features:
- vehicle equipped with auto roll bar;
- dry clutch, single plate, hydraulically actuated;
- gearbox four-speed, manual;
- fuel tank capacity - 105 liters;
- fuel consumption - 20.5 liters for every 100 kilometers traveled.
In general, the bus has components and parts that do not require replacement for a long period of operation, but are inexpensive. Due to this, the car is one of the leaders in the car market, practically not inferior to foreign analogues.
