Additionally, two trailers were used on the truck: the GKB and SZAP brands. Thus, the useful volume of the cargo compartment doubled (in fact, the carrying capacity too). But with a full load of 20 tons (this was already considered an overload), its maximum speed was no more than 50 kilometers per hour. Therefore, conscientious drivers tried not to load goods weighing more than 15 tons onto the road train.

The brainchild of the Kama Automobile Plant was equipped with a comfortable (at that time) cabin without a sleeping bag. The car accommodated two passengers. In Soviet times, the KAMAZ cab was considered almost the standard of comfort among all heavy vehicles. And there are many explanations for this.
