The Marusya sports car dates back to 2007. It was then that VAZ was offered the idea of creating the first racing car in Russia. This idea was quickly realized, and after 2 years, a new domestic sports car was standing at the international auto show in Geneva. To the surprise of the public, the car turned out not to be another VAZ tuning version, but a completely new car designed from scratch. In general, the novelty has more than enough strict lines and shapes. If you look at the car from a different angle, you can see that its body is visually divided into three parts. The front one, with its sharp corners and wings, is abruptly interrupted in the middle, where the door is located. Then, in the rear, the Marusya car expands again. According to the developers themselves, this was done in order to reduce aerodynamic drag. By the way, the car itself is so small and narrow that only one wiper can be seen on the windshield. And finally, about the wheels. The Marusya car is equipped with such large disks that their location exceeds the level of the hood and even slightly reaches the steering wheel.
Interior
Inside everything is just as strange and incomprehensible. When designing the interior, the engineers set themselves the goal of creating a completely new and sporty interior.
Indeed, inside the car will definitely not be left without attention. What is the front panel, made in the shape of the letter "M", and 6 LCD monitors located around the entire perimeter of the torpedo! But the only question is: "Why does the driver need as many as 6 on-board computers?" Apparently, this is another mystery of domestic developers. What really deserves praise is the leather upholstery and 3D weaving.

Under the hood of the novelty is a six-cylinder"aspirated" with a capacity of 300 horsepower and a working volume of 3.5 liters. Also, buyers will be offered two 2.8-liter units with a capacity of 360 and 420 "horses". Thanks to these engine characteristics, the novelty is able to score a hundred in just 3.8 seconds. This figure is really similar to that of Italian sports cars.
As for the cost, the new car "Marusya" is available in Russia at a price of 5.5 to 7 million rubles. It becomes clear why this sports car is so irrelevant among domestic motorists.
