First cars

The oldest Kia models are those produced in the early eighties. Then the company was seized by a financial crisis, and in order for the company to survive, specialists began to think about the development and production of cheap, budget cars. So in 1987, a car like Pride came out. It was decided to build it on the basis of the Mazda 121 car. The car turned out to be really very cheap (for those times). The new version cost about $7,500. And, by the way, it is still on sale today. Although, of course, there are other Kia models that are more popular, modern and technically equipped. However, Pride is still trending, so to speak.

In the 90s, the Sportage and Sephfia models were actively produced. They were presented in 1991, in Tokyo. The audience especially liked the Kia Sportage. In 1996, this car started in the East-West Sahara rally. The car is characterized by increased cross-country ability and can be either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. This car was even named the best car of the year twice.

And the second model, Kia Sephia, was built on the basis of Mazda 323. In 1993, she was published, and two years later, in 1995, she was restyled. And two more, in 1997, they carried out a new modernization. All in all, a lot of work has been done on Sephfia. Until the second generation came out.

You can't deprive this car of attention when talking about Kia cars. All models of this concern enjoy a certain popularity, but “Optima” is certainly well-known to many. The exterior is attractive - the radiator grill and a very dynamic profile immediately catches the eye, which resembles a coupe body in its appearance. Embossed sidewalls, pronounced wheel arches and an expressive shoulder line - all this creates a very athletic and graceful sedan. And on top of the car profile is framed with chrome. Due to this decision, the body becomes visually more squat. Another car was “decorated” with stylish fake air intakes. And the beautiful headlights complete the picture. This is the last of the most bought and popular cars of the company. And another key feature of the car is the organization of the internal space thought out to the smallest detail. In general, the car has everything: a 4-spoke steering wheel, fog lights, tinted windows, a two-color panel, power windows, an audio system, an immobilizer, airbags. And the engines are gasoline, there are two of them. One is 124- and the other is 156-strong. The maximum speed developed by the model is 208 km/h.
