Should I install xenon on a scooter? Advantages and disadvantages

Therefore, many scooter owners are concerned about the question of whether to install xenon on a scooter. Of course, there are many complications associated with this.starting with the asking price. However, it is hardly worth being afraid of the considerable cost of branded lamps, which can sometimes reach several hundred dollars. It is better to find a more budget option.

Of course, one can hardly imagine that someone would dare to put Chinese xenon on a premium motorcycle. However, for a simpler bike, a moped or a scooter, a kit made in China or Korea is quite suitable. Such lighting is inexpensive, but, as many experts note, it has good quality (even compared to its much more expensive counterparts).

Those who decide to get such headlights and have already installed xenon on a scooter note a number of advantages over conventional headlights:

1) Xenon lamp light is twice as bright as the scooter's stock headlight.

2) Xenon lamp life is almost 11 times longer.

3) Passive safety.

4) Xenon light is closer in spectrum to the sun, which means that during a long trip at night, the driver's eyes will be much less tired.5) Serviceable xenon lamps almost do not heat up and do not harm optics.

6) And one more reason to choose xenon. A scooter accompanied by a powerful blue light is easier to attract the attention of other road users, which means a lot for the safety of the driver and his passenger.

It would seem that everything is obvious. However, there are several arguments against choosing xenon for a scooter:

1) Installation of such lightingalso requires an ignition unit, for which you will need to find a place.

2) All electrical equipment of the scooter needs to be redone, otherwise it will not be possible to achieve the maximum operation of xenon lamps.3) The main part of the work will only be done by an electrician, and this will entail additional costs.

Before you install xenon on a scooter, you must carefully check the condition of the reflectors, the cleanliness and tightness of the headlights.
