UAZ Simbir is a real all-terrain vehicle

Initially, model 3162 was built on the basis of the UAZ 3160, which was mass-produced for seven years, from August 1997 until 2004. The new UAZ Simbir was an improved version of this model, featuring a long base and a new axle. And it has been produced since April 2000. Since that moment, a lot of time has passed, during which the Russian SUV has proven itself perfectly. UAZ "Simbir" - the reviews of the owners were very flattering. Buyers had the opportunity to order a 6-seater Ulyanovsk SUV in a luxury version with 3 rows of seats, as well asmechanical headrest adjustment system.

Many will agree that the UAZ 3162 "Simbir" had a rather attractive appearance, which emphasized the solidity of its owner. The body of the car was made very high quality (this applies to both design and its strength). Now the jeep became more stable on sharp turns, and also developed a greater speed.

The interior of the new model has become more spacious. The front seats have also changed - now car trips no longer tire the driver and his passengers. The rear seats can be easily folded down, which significantly increases the volume of the trunk (however, it was already very roomy).

A word about the engine

Until 2001, the novelty was equipped with a carburetor engine of the UMP 421-10 brand. After that, a more modern and powerful engine of the same brand was installed on the SUV. A year later, the company produced a new line of UAZ Simbir with ZMZ turbodiesel engines.

The Russian jeep UAZ "Simbir" could boast of its remarkable cross-country ability, high maintainability, and unpretentious maintenance.
