- The truck serial number 5516W4-420 is fitted with Cummins engines. They comply with the Euro-4 standard, have a power rating of 300 horses, and are aggregated with a nine-range gearbox. The tipper platform of the car has a "trough" configuration, it functions only with the rear type of unloading. The standard load capacity is 15 tons.

Steering and brakes

Cab

In the extended version of the cabin, the shelves are placed behind the backs of the "seats", easily separated from the working area with the help of partitions or curtains. There is a storage box on the tunnel, which is also used as a table. Good visibility is provided by a high driving position and multi-level side rear-view mirrors. The seat belts are equipped with three fixation points, guarantee the reliable retention of the driver and passengers in case of emergency. This equipment applies to modern dump trucks MAZ-5516.
Until the mid-nineties of the last century, Soviet pragmatism, minimal attention to comfort and asceticism prevailed here. Double-panel doors are made of sheet steel by stamping, welded and rolled around the perimeter. In the middle of the inner part of the door, hatches are provided for installing and dismantling glass, a lock and a rotary-type locking mechanism drive.
