Direct switching is carried out in the third position. That is, if you replace the resistor, the problem will be solved.
- The ignition relay may stick in some cases. In this case, the stove motor starts to work only after the engine is completely warmed up. If such a property is noted, it is worth checking the control device for a malfunction and replacing it with a new one if necessary.
- Fan failure. If it does not respond to switching on, and the voltage from the switch continues to flow, we can talk about a poor-quality connection on the "minus".
Switch failure
The switch itself often causes problems. Atusing a standard light bulb with soldered wires, you can check this device. In order to provide free access to it, the main part of the console is turned off. When the engine is on, one wire is set to "minus", the other touches all speeds separately. When the lamp is activated on each element, there is no doubt that the switch is working. If there is no reaction, the wire is put on the "plus". The lamp should light up, and if this does not happen, the fuse may be broken, or the stove motor has an open in the circuits.
How the system works
It is worthwhile to first understand the principle of the system. Setting the temperature to the desired level is carried out by closing and opening the tap of the heating element. At the same time, a heat source enters the radiator - heated coolant, the temperature of which, when the engine is warm, reaches 95 degrees.
The running speed is set by switching the speed mode. This has a direct effect on the amount of cold or hot air entering the car interior. After that, the air supply by panel dampers varies, they also regulate the direction, for example, to the passenger compartment or to the windshield.
Replacing the stove motor
If the fan does not work or noise and creaking are noted, you need to change it. To get started, prepare a tool: a ratchet handle, a Phillips screwdriver and a socket.

The protective casing is pulled out, which hides the stove motor, and the bolts securing it to the machine body are unscrewed.

There are no other voltage relief options, since the device is distinguished by a direct method of soldering the wiring. Before changing the stove motor, it should be twisted to simplify the process. With the knowledge and time, it can be repaired. Otherwise, a new device is mounted and all items are returned in reverse order.
Stove motor: repair
First of all, it is worth checking for foreign objects in the duct, as they can contribute to noise when in contact with the impeller. If they are missing, you will have to disassemble the electric motor. The disassembly process has a similar principle for different kinds of devices.
You need to pull out the anchor, for this, access to the brush assembly is provided by removing the fan cover. The bushings located on the cover and the body are cleaned and lubricated.
The bearings are thoroughly washed in kerosene, the anthers made of rubber are removed from them first, andlubricated with lithol. Such an algorithm often allows the bearings to work again.
If necessary, they can be replaced with new ones. At the same time, seats are marked on the shaft before removal. To remove, you can use a screwdriver or a core, but a specialized puller is the best option.
The new element is pressed in with a hammer or a piece of wood, it is advisable to apply machine oil to the stem.
It is advisable to clean the collector from possible oxidizing phenomena before assembling the stove motor. Due to this, the electrical conductivity with brushes will improve. Lubrication of the fan with lithol will provide easier installation in a plastic cup.
