Managing this technique is quite simple. In order to put the vacuum pump into action, it is enough to press a few levers and wait until the mechanism pumps all the waste into the tank. Usually the driver himself does this, but sometimes a partner helps him. The pump sucks up the liquid quite quickly, so the whole work lasts about 5-7 minutes. That's how long it takes to clean an 8,000-litre cesspool.
Varieties of models
Today, sewage trucks based on GAZ and KAMAZ are very popular. In the first case, the equipment is based on the chassis of a GAZ 3307 truck. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a tank, pipes and a special pump. The second car is made on the basis of model 5320. Both modifications have the name of one or another pump (for example, the GAZ KO-503 sewage truck and KAMAZ KO-505A.
These vehicles can be used to clean many objects. It could be:
- pumping cesspools;
- cleaning wells, sewers;
- removal of organic waste from various enterprises;
- cleaning car washes;
- drainage of reservoirs and pumping water from a flooded room.
How much does a sewage truck cost?
The price for renting this equipment is quite high. In Moscow and the Moscow region, in order to pump out 1 cubic meter of waste, you will have to pay about 1,500 rubles. In other areas, the cost of such services is 2-3 times cheaper.
