The Nissan Almera sedan has been produced since 1995. The first generation of this model was produced until 2000. From the very beginning, this generation was equipped with a 1.4 and 1.6 liter gasoline engine, as well as a two-liter diesel engine.

On the updated cars, a 1.5 and 1.8-liter engine and a 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine were installed. Automatic transmission was present only on versions with an engine capacity of 1.8 liters.

In 2002, a car called "Renault Samsung SM3" was released. But in 2006, production was moved to Russia, and the model became known as "Almera Classic".

The first generation of the Nissan Primera sedan began production in 1990. The car was equipped with a manual 5-speed transmission and a 4-speed automatic; had front-wheel drive, 1.6-liter engines (injection), as well as two-liter injectionand diesel engines. In Japan, there were two versions of the engine: 1, 8 and 2 liters. In Europe, 1.6-liter engines were popular.
