The GAZelle light truck, which appeared in 1994, quickly conquered the CIS with its reliability, price and unpretentiousness in maintenance. Soon the Gorky Automobile Plant began to develop new modifications of these cars. First, the GAZelle “Duet” appeared, then elongated modifications, and soon the first light dump truck GAZ-330232 in the history of the domestic auto industry debuted.

Design
The Gorky engineers took the platform of the extended GAZ-330232 chassis as a basis. Thanks to the long frame, the designers have achieved a significant increase in cabin and cargo space. The latter holds up to two cubic meters of cargo. Absolutely everything can be transported in such a body, from fertilizers,ending with building materials.
Design
Externally, the car resembles the design of the already familiar "Farmer" with an extended base. In front of the GAZ-330232-288, we are greeted by the already familiar rounded headlights and a smiling radiator grill, smoothly turning into a shock bumper. The wheels are the same - 16 inches. At the bottom, a new optics appeared - "guns" of foglights. The only pity is that the bumper and mirrors are not painted in body color. As for the body, it was developed with the participation of fellow Austrian engineers. The Austrian company Fuhrmann also took part in the development of the GAZ-330232 dump truck, which proposed a new version of the sides. They differ from ours in that they do not have hidden cavities. The body lifting mechanism is Italian. The rest of the parts and assemblies were developed by Russian engineers.
Salon
No significant changes have taken place inside either. Modification GAZ-330232 differs only in the presence of a new switch key on the front panel. After pressing it, the body automatically overturns the load from the platform. Unloading takes place on the right side. Also in the cabin you can see a new lever, painted in red. He is responsible for turning on the power take-off. The cabin, like the "Farmer", can accommodate up to 6 people.
Specifications
The domestic GAZ-330232 dump truck is equipped with a UMZ-4216 gasoline engine that meets Euro-3 emission standards. Also, buyers are offered the American Cummins engine, which runs on diesel fuel. Transmissionthe GAZelle is the same in both cases - a 5-speed manual transmission. The fuel consumption of the truck is not quite economical - up to 16 liters at 60 kilometers per hour. Its import competitors absorb up to 10-11 liters of fuel. With its curb weight of 2221 kilograms, the new dump truck accelerates without problems to 95 kilometers per hour.
GAZ-330232: price
The minimum cost of a new light dump truck is 600 thousand rubles. For this price, the manufacturer offers a modification with a gasoline engine and manual transmission. For a complete set with a diesel Cummins, you will have to pay about 930 thousand rubles.
