Russian Uralvagonzavod is one of the most powerful manufacturers of specialized equipment in the country. And one of the units of the enterprise, which has proven itself excellently in practice and fully corresponds to its price, is the EO-5126 excavator, the characteristics of which will be discussed in detail in this article.

The manufacturer of the machine guarantees full compliance of the equipment produced by him with all standards and norms. The EO-5126 excavator was no exception in this matter, the high quality of which is confirmed both by many years of operation and by the presence of special quality certificates. The warranty period for the unit is one and a half years from the date of its dispatch from the enterprise.

Very well-thought-out design of the machine provides fairly easy access for operating and maintenance personnel to all its components and parts, which makes it an excellent opportunity to repair equipment even in the field.

Destination

The EO-5126 excavator was designed to process pre-loosened rock, the size of the pieceswhich do not exceed 500 mm, as well as frozen soils of categories I–IV. In addition, the machine is actively used for digging trenches, pits, quarries, canals and other similar objects.

Motor

The EO-5126 excavator, the technical characteristics of which were indicated above, is equipped with an eight-cylinder four-stroke V-shaped diesel engine YaMZ-238GM2, which has water cooling and direct fuel injection.

Motor indicators are:

1. Volume - 14.86 liters.
2. Power - 180 hp s.
3. Diameter of the working cylinder - 130 mm.
4. Rotational speed - 1700 rpm.

In addition, the machine is equipped with a centralized lubrication system from the German company LINCOLN, as well as a preheater from the Eberspächer company.

General design description

Excavator EO-5126 is, in fact, a combination of three main parts:

• caterpillar trucks;
• turntable with hoods and other mechanisms;
• equipment that performs direct work with the soil.

Hydraulicthe equipment is installed on a turntable. The excavator also includes caterpillar drives, support and track rollers, tensioners and caterpillar tracks. The swing frame is fixed to the main frame with bolts.

A few words about the cockpit

EO-5126 has a driver's workplace equipped according to all ergonomic requirements, which can significantly reduce the time for moving it inside. The heat and sound insulation of the cab is also at a high level, and the large glass area gives the operator an excellent view of the job site. There are two wipers available. There is a heater inside to keep you comfortable.

Equipment

Depending on the nature of the work performed, the excavator can be equipped with the following working body:

• grab;
• bucket;
• hydraulic hammer;
• hydraulic shears;
• ripper.

Cost

The price of an excavator varies depending on the year of its release and, of course, the technical condition. So, the model of 2008-2010 will cost within 1.2 - 1.6 million Russian rubles. Earlier options will cost 800-900 thousand rubles.

As for analogues, the EO-5126 excavator does not have so many of them. To some extent, the ET-30 model can be attributed to such a technique, which nevertheless has a slightly reduced functionality in comparison with the EO-5126.
