"Combi" UAZ: characteristics and photos

The universal domestic minibus with improved cross-country ability is designed to carry out cargo and passenger transportation all year round on roads of various surfaces, as well as off-road.

Introducing the car

The designation UAZ "Kombi" was given to an all-wheel drive multifunctional minibus of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant. The official factory numbering of the model is presented as follows: UAZ "Loaf" Kombi 3909. The minibus of this modification has been produced since 2016, and from the name it is clear that the model's predecessor is the famous "Loaf" (UAZ 452).

"Loaf" was a successful development of UAZ, produced for almost 20 years, starting in 1965. On the basis of the car, many modifications and special versions have been developed, and, as already noted, the latest version of the minibus, the new UAZ Kombi, was restyled in 2016. The modernization carried out confirms the stable consumer interest in the all-wheel drive minibus.

The external main distinguishing feature of the minibus is the use of cabover design. This allowed not only to improve the off-road properties of the car, but also to form a recognizable front end. In addition, it is characterized by a narrow bumper, a trapezoidal grille, round headlights, turn signal repeaters, and massive exterior mirrors. The body itself, made in the performance of a van, has a rectangular shape with rounded corners, for which he received the nickname "Loaf". The minibus is equipped with five wide doors, while the rear for the cargo compartment has a double-leaf design, which makes loading (unloading) convenient.

Small overhangs, high ground clearance, almost square wheel arches indicate the off-road qualities in the external image in the photo of the UAZ "Kombi".

InternalFinishing is made of inexpensive, but high-quality materials. Separately, we can note the high front seats with headrests and the ability to adjust, the noise-absorbing soft cover of the engine hood, the ceiling lights and the passenger compartment heater.

Maintenance

According to its main purpose, the minibus has to work hard in difficult road conditions under the influence of high loads. Therefore, to maintain a reliable and long-term performance of an SUV, it is necessary to carefully monitor the technical condition. At the same time, it is important to comply in a timely manner and in fullmanufacturer's maintenance (TO) rules and follow the approved rules for using the vehicle.

In accordance with the service regulations, the following types of work are established for the UAZ "Combi":

1. Daily (EO).
2. TO-1.
3. TO-2.
4. Seasonal (CO).

The standard period for the first service is 4,000 km, for the second - 16,000 km. However, it is important to adjust these standards in accordance with the conditions of use of the minibus. The necessary correction factors are set in the rules for the operation of the vehicle.

The main types of work for each MOT are:

1. EO - visual inspection of the car, checking and topping up process fluids.
2. TO-1 - lubrication and fixing work.
3. TO-2 - carrying out TO-1 operations, checking and adjusting vehicle systems, replacing filters and process fluids.
