The Maybach Excelero is a car that needs no introduction. After all, this model costs 8 million dollars. And most people have heard of it. Even those who do not understand cars. And no wonder - after all, this car was talked about for a very long time and in detail.

Everyone knows what amazing cars the German concern Maybach makes. In 2005, this company demonstrated to the whole world that car, which literally took their breath away. "Maybach Excelero" - this car hit everyone. It was developed in collaboration with tire manufacturer Fulda. The idea was to demonstrate the use of special high-speed tires. And it succeeded later.

And it was decided to take the Maybach 57 limousine as a platform. Interestingly, this was the first time in history that this car manufacturer decided to merge with Fulda. But on the other hand, it’s far from the first when the concern created a car specifically for demonstrationtires.

Fulda took the matter seriously, and so in 2005 a completely new tire design was introduced to the attention of the audience. And such products flaunted on the exclusive Maybach Excelero show car, the photo of which is presented below. Interestingly, students from the Pforzheim Technical College took part in the design.

The Maybach Eskelero looks like perfection. A large grille and air intakes integrated into the front bumper, which is powerful and massive, an attractive front splitter are features that justify the exorbitantly highcar cost. "Maybach Excelero" characteristics were simply magnificent. Thanks to the large grille, the volume of air has increased, and due to the splitter, the level of aerodynamics has increased. By the way, one of the attracted college students suggested such innovations.

Powerful front fenders, which smoothly pass into the side panels, as well as expressive optics and exhaust pipes that are built into the door sills, immediately catch the eye. In addition, the rear massive fenders attract attention, which seem to flow into the diffuser (by the way, it also contributes to additional aerodynamics and better directional stability). The spoiler also looks unusual - thanks to such an expressive detail, a very harmonious and complete image is obtained.

Interestingly, this two-door body is made of panels (steel and aluminum) that are mounted on a frame made of chlormolybdenum steel. The mass of the car is only 2660 kilograms. With fairly impressive dimensions, the length is almost six meters (5.89 cm), the width is 2.14 m, and the height is 1.39 m.

Features

This is another extremely important topic that must be touched upon when talking about a car like the Maybach Excelero. The technical characteristics of the unit are also impressive. The maximum speed is 351 km/h. To "hundreds" the car accelerates in just 4.4 seconds. Engine - 700-horsepower, V-shaped, 12-cylinder, six liters of volume.

Powered by an 8-speed dual clutch gearbox. Thanks to this transmission, all the power of the torque is transferred to the rear wheels. After all, the car is rear-wheel drive.

This is the last thing I would like to talk about. It’s not even worth arguing, you can immediately say that everything is inside. Absolutely everything that can be useful. And that's no surprise for an $8 million car. Landing - what can be said about it? To many, it seems low. But only those people who did not sit inside think so. Yes, the back of the car is a little "raised". But the landing, even if it is racing, is extremely comfortable. Pleasing and bucket racing seats (incredibly comfortable), luxurious sports interior, high-quality leather, aluminum, carbon fiber, neoprene. No complaints about the salon. Everything is as elegant, expensive, beautiful and at the same time comfortable, convenient and ergonomic.
