The liner "Costa Diadema" is a perfect creation of the Italian masters of the company Costa.

General information

Launched at Genoa in early November 2014. This liner is able to accommodate almost five thousand passengers who will comfortably accommodate in luxurious cabins. The company spent almost five hundred million euros on the construction of the ship.

The liner cruises the waters of the Mediterranean Sea with an exit from Savona or Barcelona with a call to the most beautiful cities in Spain, France, Italy (Palma de Mallorca, Marseille, La Spezia, Civicavecchia). The cruise is usually seven days long.

"Costa Diadema" is a liner that impresses with its size. Its length is 306 m, and the width is 37.2 m, the displacement is one hundred and thirty-two tons! The speed of the ship "Costa Diadema" is 22.5 knots.

In total, there are 1862 cabins on the liner, nineteen passenger decks,including a huge circular deck for walking.

Passengers staying in suites enjoy butler service, 24-hour room service, room service breakfast, and a welcome bottle of champagne and a fruit basket.

Among the suites, interior cabins and rooms with a balcony, there are spa cabins located on decks 11 and 12. A huge indoor pool with a large screen, located on deck 11. Thanks to the retractable roof, you can swim in the pool both in winter and in summer.

Samsara Spa

The incredible spa (almost eight thousand square meters) has a sauna, a room with the latest and various exercise equipment, an open-air treadmill, a sports ground, a steam bath, treatment rooms, a thalassotherapy area, a solarium, swimming pool and eight hot tubs.

Stella del Sud Lido

Swimming pool with sea view, small bar, waterfall and balcony. This pool, located on decks 10 and 11, allows you to fully enjoy the sun and sea breeze.

Emerald Theatre. The theater is spread over three floors (respectively on decks 3, 4, 5), and its decoration is amazing: lots of lights, heavy curtains, a combination of glass, expensive fabrics and precious stones makes it shine.

Costa Diadema is a gourmet paradise. There are only fifteen restaurants on the liner, each of which is able to satisfy the most sophisticated and unusual requirements of passengers,each time surprising with delicious dishes from the cuisine of different countries.

Samsara Restaurant. A restaurant where exquisite Japanese cuisine is perfectly combined with a discreet interior and excellent service.

Teppanyaki Restaurant. An oriental-style establishment with delicious grilled dishes, the cooking of which is a real show that takes place in front of the guests.

Corona Blu. The restaurant will provide delicious snacks and a variety of dishes for breakfast or after a noisy party, so you can have a bite to eat here at any time, because the institution is open around the clock.

Fiorentino Restaurant. Located off the aft end, this restaurant offers delicious food paired with stunning sea views and the light sea air is great for digestion.

Gran Duca di Toskana Wine Bar. The wine bar is a unique place where you can experience the exquisite taste of Italian and French wines paired with aged cheeses and other snacks.

Bar Bollicine (sparkling wine bar). An establishment offering a huge selection of sparkling wines from Italy, Spain, France and other countries, where every guest can find their drink.

Dresden Green Pub. A real German pub, where the atmosphere of the traditional Oktoberfest reigns. Great for hanging out with friends in a relaxed atmosphere over a pint of beer withdelicious sausages.

Orlov Grand Bar. In this bar, you can plunge into the fifties of the last century, enjoy a cozy exterior in warm colors and classic cocktails, relax to the melodic sounds of musical instruments and spend a wonderful evening with friends.

It is in this bar that the signature music on the liner "Costa Diadema" is performed live by famous musicians.

There are daily dance lessons, bingo and so on.

Teodora Bar. This is the indescribable atmosphere of the Brazilian carnival, incendiary dances to rhythmic Latin American music, combined with delicious exotic cocktails.

The ship starts its seven-day journey through the waters of the Mediterranean Sea from Savona (Italy), calling in turn to Marseille (one of the largest ports not only in France, but alsothe entire Mediterranean), Barcelona (the largest commercial and industrial city in Spain), Palma de Mallorca (the capital of the Bolearic Islands), Naples (the most beautiful city in Italy), La Spezia (a luxurious resort city in Italy), and then again returns to Savona. Also, the seven-day cruise can start from Marseille, Rome or Barcelona.
