G12 antifreeze is a new generation of antifreeze. Initially, only water was used as an engine coolant. In principle, in the summer it was quite satisfied with its performance, but in winter such a cooling system brought continuous troubles, because it tends to freeze at temperatures below 00С. To save the engine, the fluid had to be drained when the car was stored. Even water affected the metal with corrosion. Technologists proposed an additive - ethylene glycol. He has proven himself in older models of vehicles. But cars with light engines made of non-ferrous alloys entered the conveyor, and here ethylene glycol became inappropriate, as it entered into chemical interaction with aluminum alloys, destroying the radiator, motor and connecting pipes.

Therefore, water with additives was replaced by a new cooling agent "Tosol", which resists corrosion. Later, German manufacturers offered motorists a new generation coolant - G11 - with excellent properties, but also with a very short service life, and it was replaced by a new one that hasservice life of five years, antifreeze G12.

Today, all car shops have it on sale and attract the attention of buyers with many advantages indicated on the label. As practice shows, G12 is an antifreeze that has an anti-corrosion and carboxyl composition of acids of organic origin. For the motorist, this means that very good detergents are already present in this coolant, so there is no need to flush the system when replacing it after the expiration date.

The anti-corrosion additives that G12 Plus Plus antifreeze contains do not clog the cooling system. They are attracted only to those places where corrosion is actively localized, and are distributed over all undamaged areas with the thinnest protective film, not exceeding 0.1 mK in thickness.

A five-year service life is very convenient for Western motorists, because G12 antifreeze gives them the opportunity to completely not worry about the engine cooling system during the entire operation of the vehicle. It is poured into the system directly on the production line. A Western European person rarely uses one car for more than five years, which means that, in principle, he should not have any worries with the cooling system.

This means that the product, for some qualities, meets the properties of antifreeze, but it does not have the fundamental properties of G12 and guarantees of quality compliance.
