It is unscrewed with a 13 key. It is worth noting that the VAZ 2110 clutch pedal is connected to the fork with a cable. Then remove the clutch cable bracket. There is one 17-head bolt at the top, and two nuts with a size of 13 from the left edge. At the bottom, you need to remove the engine protection, if any, and then pull out the plug that is connected to the reversing light sensor. After that, it is necessary to drain the oil from the gearbox. In fact, it is possible that about one third of the total volume remains in it. It is best, of course, to drain all the oil when the VAZ 2110 clutch changes.
Final dismantling of nodes
Then remove the left front wheel. Using a puller and a 19 wrench, remove the steering tip from the steering knuckle of the front strut. Using a 17 wrench, unscrew the two bolts that secure the ball joint housing to the wheel hub. Remove the suspension bracket if necessary. Then turn off the backstage so as not to damage it during removal. After that, it is necessary to install a support under the engine, and fix the gearbox in the same way. Two pillows are removed from the latter - one is located in the front left side, the other in the back. Without this, the clutch cannot be replaced on the VAZ 2110.
Three bolts and one nut that secure the box body to the internal combustion engine are unscrewed with 19 wrenches.of course, completely remove the box. But you can cheat a little by inserting long studs instead of the upper bolts. With their help, you can move the box to the maximum distance from the engine. In this case, of course, it is desirable to extend the right wheel drive. After you have gained access to the clutch elements, you need to replace them.
Removing discs and preparing for replacement
And now about how to remove the clutch on the VAZ 2110. With a key of 8 or 13 (depending on which bolts) it is necessary to unscrew all the bolts that secure the clutch basket to the flywheel. The release bearing is located on the input shaft. On the new one, you need to apply additional graphite grease and install it in place. Please note that all elements must be changed at a time, while you will only increase the resource of the entire mechanism.
Installing a new clutch
If you need to replace the crown on the flywheel, you need to use a chisel and a hammer to knock down the old one. With light blows, you need to remove this element in a circle. As a rule, a plastic guide is included in the clutch kit. You install it in the clutch disc of the VAZ 2110, which leans against the flywheel.
Then put the basket on top, align it with all the holes on the flywheel. Heal all the bolts. Please note that reusing old bolts is not recommended as they will not provide a secure fit. All these bolts must be tightened crosswise. Otherwise, the clutch basket will skew,as a result, it may not work properly.
