Before doing this, be sure to disconnect the battery, since a short in the ignition system is especially painful for the car's electronics. If the engine does not start at all, then it is worth first determining the nature of the malfunction. The ignition coil is checked using a conventional tester. It is also worth making sure that there are no short circuits to ground, especially the wire coming from one of the ignition coil leads to the ignition distributor. If everything is in order with the specified details, then if available, you need to make sure that the switch is working. It rarely fails, but it happens and happens due to a short circuit. Before replacing it, you need to check the chain for a similar item.
