Despite the complexity of the task, Nissan engineers and designers managed to build a great car. After entering the market, Nissan Xtrail immediately gained popularity in the USA, Europe and Japan. Sometimes the SUV even managed to take the first lines in the sales ratings.
The first generation was built on the famous Nissan FF-S platform. It is noteworthy that earlier the Primera and Almera models received the same platform. And the design of the X-Trail was borrowed from the "big brother" Patrol.
In 2007The new Nissan Xtrail of the second generation was presented. The main differences from its predecessor were a new design, a new platform (Nissan C) and a choice between front and all-wheel drive.

How will the Nissan Ixtrail behave off-road? The characteristics of the car speak of great potential. Under the hood of the SUV is a Nissan Ixtrail transverse engine, which produces 169 hp. with a volume of 2.5 liters. Paired with the engine is a CVT type variator with 6 virtual steps. In order to accelerate to 100 km / h, the car will need just over 10 seconds.
For cross-country driving, Nissan engineers have equipped their car with a large number of electronic systems. For example, already at a slope of 10 degrees, the anti-recoil system is activated. In addition, the hill descent assist works great.
When slipping or a sharp start, it connectsfour-wheel drive. If the driver prefers permanent four-wheel drive, then just press the desired button.
The cost of the version with a 2.5-liter engine and CVT is 42 thousand dollars. For people with a more modest budget, a version with a 2-liter engine has been developed. Such a car in the basic configuration costs a little over 30 thousand dollars.
It is worth noting that next summer, sales of the new generation X-Trail will begin. The official presentation of the crossover has already taken place at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2013. They promised to announce the characteristics of the novelty a little later.
In the meantime, the 2010 Nissan X-Trail continues to shine in showrooms and is waiting for a buyer.
