Since childhood, boys, and many girls, are attracted by such a miracle of technology as a car. Sparkling with its paintwork, rumbling with a velvety tone of the engine and bewitching with a wink of headlights, the car delights and conquers children and adults in the yards of houses and on the roads of the city.

A classic car

how the car is made

To understand how the car is made, consider the simplest classic toy model. At the moment, reduced copies of cars repeat the original so perfectly that a better example cannot be found. So, the main parts of any car:

  • body, metal car frame of various modifications from coupe to station wagon;
  • chassis, wheelbase interconnected by axles and rods;
  • motor, internal combustion engine;
  • transmission, gearbox.

The most important thing, both in the creation of a children's toy, and in the issue of a real car, is the wheel, invented in antiquity. Of course, it is not an integral part of the body, but inthe rest of the units are used in almost the majority.

Let's start with the chassis. In addition to the fact that the wheel is the main element, all other parts are also a combination of large and small wheels and balls in the form of bearings, brake discs and other things. If there are teeth on the wheel, it smoothly passes into the category of gears and (together) camshafts, which form a gearbox and engine elements, and the steering wheel puts an end to the assertion that the main wheel is in the car. Important in the classic version, and in the modern one, is the electric power supply of all devices via wires from the battery and generator.

The trends of the era, or Modern car

Every year brings new achievements in the automotive industry, and modern technologies are increasingly being introduced into the classic image of the car. Today, more and more often on the streets of cities you can find cars with an alternative or hybrid engine running on various types of fuel and energy. An ordinary radio tape recorder does not attract buyers as much as a regular head unit with the ability to connect cameras and sensors necessary for parking, as well as additional connectors for modern devices. The annual presentation of concept cars at several international motor show exhibitions is increasingly drawing people's attention not to how the car is made, whether it is real, but to whether it will be a production model or remain a poster one. Therefore, every year the car turns into new futuristic objects, erasingclassic understanding of the name and its essence.

Real car features from the screen

On the screen, the cars of the main characters are simply fantastic in their performance. They can be transported in time, transformed into huge robots, controlled from a smartphone or remote control, recognize speech and analyze situations while moving. But the most important function of all cars in the movies is to protect against the opposing side and possess technologies that provide an advantage over the rival.

For many movie legends, it doesn't matter how the car is made, the main thing is what it is made of. Some auto-heroes are endowed with a bulletproof body and windows, others - with the presence of additional, so to speak, attachments in the form of weapons, scanners and other chips. Almost all of them are fast and maneuverable, even the Volga from the Soviet movie looked faster on the screen, and the w altz with the use of driving maneuvers delighted the domestic audience. In fact, few cars on the silver screen are not something that do not exist in reality, but are even unable to move independently. Most, of course, are an improved prototype of serial models of existing cars, and in symbiosis with the skillful actions of motorsport professionals, they are ready to surprise and shock us. But don't be fooled - because the car was made for the movie, it will never be released to the mass market.

Epic Taxi Trilogy and Engineering Findings

Separately, I would like to note the car from the French trilogy about the "ordinary" taxi. A serial car has not undergone such changes in any movie. What designers (and probably the entire cinematographic group) did not come up with to create the image of a French supercar! The announcement of each subsequent series was accompanied by many comments and headlines with one single phrase: “And this time, how will the car from the Taxi movie be made?” The efforts of tuning designers and computer graphics engineers allowed an ordinary city taxi not only to change its appearance, but also to drive through snowy mountains and even fly.
