The Nissan Atlas has been produced in Japan since 1981. It belongs to the range of light trucks with a carrying capacity of up to 2 tons. The current version of the Atlas is significantly different from the one that was produced in the 80s. The last update was made in 2007. Since then, this car has been produced in three variations:
- Atlas Wide Cab;
- Atlas Standard Cab;
- Atlas High Cab.

Design and Interior
Externally, the restyled Nissan Atlas trucks are very reminiscent of the design of the French Renault Maxity. All the same elongated headlights of the main light, a large windshield and a bumper with integrated fog lights. In profile, the Nissan Atlas claims to be square. And, despite the fact that this is a light vehicle, it has a reclining cab. Thanks to this driver is providedexcellent access to all spare parts, including injection pump and generator. So, let's jump into the salon. The driver's seat is well thought out by Japanese engineers. It has everything for comfortable control and work. On the forward panel - a folding tray for laid on papers of the A4 format. Also, each set of Nissan Atlas commercial trucks includes a multifunctional organizer shelf, which can be transformed into a small glove compartment. In addition, the cabin has several cup holders and various shelves under the ceiling. With all this, inside the cabin is not crowded, but quite cozy and comfortable. Ergonomics here are excellent, drivers say. The Nissan Atlas High Cab has a special place in the cargo transportation market.

Under the hood of the truck is a new 3000cc turbodiesel engine3. Paired with the engine is a five-speed manual gearbox. The Nissan Atlas engine complies with the Euro 3 environmental standard, which allows it to be used not only in Asia, but also in all European countries. True, with the right wheel it is unlikely that it will be comfortable to drive it. The fuel consumption of the Japanese is very economical. In the urban cycle, the machine spends about 6-7 liters of diesel fuel per "hundred". And even with a full load, its consumption does not exceed 9liters. Our GAZelles, with their 16-liter consumption, "nervously smoke on the sidelines"!

Unfortunately, Nissan Atlas trucks are not officially supplied to the Russian market. However, it is quite possible to purchase them, and not only in the secondary market. The cost of a new commercial vehicle "Nissan Atlas" is from 1 million 23 thousand to 1 million 245 thousand rubles. At the same time, a guarantee is given for the car - three years of operation or 100 thousand kilometers.
Based on all of the above, it is safe to say that the Nissan Atlas deserves the title of the best city carrier.
