The shape of the seats, the three-spoke steering wheel and the panel equipment are very similar to Japanese-made products. Only the details of the control keys and the instrument console are different. The interior is equipped with a "climate control" system that provides a comfortable temperature.
What is the characteristics of the Cherry-Tigo engine? On SUVs sold in the Russian Federation, two Mitsubishi licensed gasoline engines are installed: with a capacity of 2.4 liters 4G64S4M (129 horsepower, 198 N/m) and 2 liters 4G63S4M (125 “horses”, 168 N/m).
On the Russian market, "Tiggo" is sold so far only with a manual gearbox. I must say, it is designed superbly: the gear shifts are quiet, smooth and precise, the gear lever is comfortable, it does not require much effort to shift the gear.
An SUV costs between $8,700 and $11,000. This is a great price for Cherry-Tigo. Reviews of motorists about this car are simply amazing. Most versions of the Tiggo are front-wheel drive only. Four-wheel drive can only be installed with an engine with a capacity of 2.4 liters. In normal mode, the car is front-wheel drive, but if the wheels slip, the rear axle is automatically turned on. There are no blockages here, and nodownshift. This nuance limits the use of the car on broken roads.
In fact, "Tiggo" is not considered a full-fledged jeep. But he can easily overcome many minor obstacles. An impressive ground clearance of 155 mm and a powerful engine contribute to the vehicle's excellent off-road capability. The smallest clearance when fully loaded is 135 mm.
The car has optimal basic equipment, good dynamics and a roomy interior. In addition, Chery Tiggo pleases with a low price. These parameters make the machine a very good offer for everyday use.
