For the first time, a German-made Turan-Volkswagen passenger car was born in 2003. Since then, according to statistics, about 1 million 130 thousand such machines have been sold. Considering that this model of the Volkswagen concern was in such great demand, it can rightly be called a legend of the German automobile industry. At the moment, the second generation of these magnificent minivans is being produced in Germany. Volkswagen Turan will be supplied to the European market in eight variations of petrol and diesel engines. Among the gasoline units, it is worth highlighting a 1.2-liter engine that develops a power of 105 horsepower, and another 1.6-liter engine, the flow rates of which do not exceed 4.6 liters per 100 kilometers. It is possible that diesel units will not be supplied to the Russian market due to the low quality of fuel at our filling stations. By the way, as an alternative, the manufacturer offers another environmentally friendly EcoFuel engine that runs on natural gas (methane). For a "hundred" such a unit consumes only 4.7 kg of gas. Allthe above engines can be equipped with a seven-speed "automatic" or six-speed "mechanics".
Cost
The minimum price for a new minivan "Turan-Volkswagen" in the basic configuration is about 826 thousand rubles. Perhaps this is a little overpriced, but still the German quality is worth it - the car is very reliable and quite economical. In addition, the variety of engines and gearboxes allows the customer to choose exactly what he needs.
