The speed sensor is a part of any car. With it, a frequency-pulse signal is sent to the controller. Its frequency is directly proportional to the speed of the machine. And this signal is used by the controller in order to control the operation of the engine at idle and the air supply bypassing the throttle. The speed sensor emits approximately 6,000 pulses every kilometer the vehicle travels.
Between pulses on the time interval, the controller determines how high the speed of the vehicle is. In addition, this signal can be used by a speedometer installed, as usual, on the dashboard. The speed sensor is most often installed on the gearbox, and specifically on the speedometer drive mechanism. It is dismantled after the contact connector and the drive cable of the installed speedometer are disconnected. I would like to note that this installation is carried out in a sequence that is completely opposite to dismantling. This is how the speed sensor works.
Sensors are non-transit and transit. It is worth considering each type separately. The transit speed sensor passes a rotating signal through itself, which goes further to the cable leading todashboard. A non-transiting sensor receives a signal that goes no further.
There are unpleasant moments when the automatic transmission speed sensor (automatic transmission) breaks down. In fact, everything can be fixed. So, first you need to remove the air filter housing along with the pipe. To do this, loosen the two clamps with a screwdriver, and then remove these two parts. Then the negative terminal is removed from the battery, after which you need to disconnect the connector. The next step is to unscrew the bolt and remove the sensor. The gear must be moved to a new sensor, it is very simple: you need to insert it into place and wrap it. Now things will go faster. It is necessary to put on the connector, put the pipe and the filter housing, put on the negative terminal. The whole process will take more than 20 minutes if you know how to handle the tools correctly.
It happens that the speed sensor is broken, and the reason is not clear. To perform a quick check, you need to remove it. But it happens that he is not pulled out, he froze, as if tightly. In such cases, under no circumstances should the sensor be pulled out! So you can only break the knot. You will need a special WD40 fluid. After using it, you can slowly start to rotate it. If the speed sensor starts to turn, then it's easier. However, this is a very long procedure.
It also happens that when replacing this part, a new sensor simply cannot be installed. In other words, it is too large in diameter. However, the reason lies not in the sensor, but in the fact thatagain repeat the painstaking procedure mentioned above. It will be necessary to clean the seat at the base of the hub one millimeter at a time. Again, in no case should you apply force when working with this part, otherwise it can simply be broken.

Idle speed sensor on the VAZ-2109 (injector): where is it located, purpose, possible malfunctions and repairs
In injection cars, a power system is used that is different from the carburetor with its channel for idling the engine. To support the operation of the engine in XX mode, an idle speed sensor, the VAZ-2109 injector, is used. Experts call it differently: XX sensor or XX regulator. This device practically does not cause problems to the car owner, but sometimes it still fails

Any car is made up of many parts. Each of them carries a function, and a malfunction of at least one mechanism can lead to a series of breakdowns. One of the important details is the idle speed sensor, which will be discussed in the article
Everything about the DMRV VAZ-2110 (mass air flow sensor)
DMRV VAZ-2110 (mass air flow sensor) is the most important part of a car, without which no modern injection engine can do, including the engine of the domestic "tens". Many car owners at least once faced with the problem of the internal combustion engine. In many cases, the cause of this is a faulty mass air flow sensor. Today we will talk about its design, and also find out if this part can be repaired if it breaks
