Will the Vityaz all-terrain vehicle be able to overcome bureaucratic obstacles?

The all-terrain vehicle "Vityaz" began to surf the expanses of the snow-covered tundra and conquer the impenetrable landscapes of the Kola Peninsula in the seventieth year of the last century. The combination of an old idea and the developments of modern scientists resulted in an extraordinary military machine - the Vityaz all-terrain vehicle. He can swim at a speed of four kilometers per hour, enter a vertical barrier two meters high, move through four-meter ditches and ravines. The equipment was intended primarily for operation in the Far North, Siberia and the Far Eastern regions. There is a lot of snow, around a swamp and a terrain rugged by mountain landscapes, and the temperature limits in winter reach - 50 ⁰С, and in summer - up to + 40 ^{0 FROM. Previously itwere the most vulnerable places where it was most difficult to ensure the country's defense capability.}

The creators, not without pride, declared that the Vityaz is an all-terrain vehicle, which is second only to a helicopter in terms of cross-country ability. At the same time, he can protect himself from all sides, including from air attack. Its weight in full combat gear reaches twenty-eight tons with a carrying capacity of thirty tons. The calculation includes an engine with a capacity of more than seven hundred horsepower. Fuel tanks are designed for a minimum of five hundred kilometers of off-road travel at speeds of up to forty kilometers per hour.

The all-terrain vehicle "Vityaz" consists of two trailers. Its engine compartment, heating, ventilation, cabin, which has five seats for the crew, are in the avant-garde part of the car. The cargo hold has a variety of uses, from transporting cargo and equipment to mounting anti-aircraft guns. It is remarkable that by providing both parts of the vehicle with the ability to have their own turn, the developers got an amazing opportunity to increase the traction of vehicles with the ground while driving along the longitudinal-vertical landscape of mountainous terrain.

Today, the Vityaz all-terrain vehicles are not purely military equipment, because they remove harvested timber from hard-to-reach areas, provide rescue assistance during floods in flooded areas and serve as an indispensable mode of transport in areas where especially difficultclimatic conditions.

Today, only old machines are in operation, no new developments are being carried out, production is at a declining level. In this regard, engineers are very sorry that the Vityaz all-terrain vehicle, which can overcome any enemy and protect itself from an enemy located on land, in water and in the air, cannot overcome a single obstacle - a bureaucratic one. There is an opinion that it is not a priority for further development, improvement of qualities and equipping with new technical capabilities. Therefore, there is no funding for such developments.
